One day, after witnessing images of war and violence unravel in a distant part of the world, I sat down in my room—a few years ago now—and entered into a deep meditation to get into communion with the divine.  In that stillness, something began to stir! Like a radiant lightbulb igniting in a pitch-black room—impossible to ignore —an emotion rose within me, quietly at first, like a whisper in a the vastness of space. My entire body was called to attention. The emotion swelled, turning first into surprise—then, unexpectedly, into a profound sense of peace. Then, without warning, came a question that echoed like a bell in the depth of my soul: "Why wars, atrocities, and so much violence - Is that our faith as humans?"

The question didn’t arise from my mind. It arrived from somewhere else —from a place that felt beyond time, yet more intimate than thought. Then, it came: a message, subtle yet thunderous in its energy.

​​“You do not have the WILL to be yourself."

Those words weren’t just heard—they resonated. As if the vibration of that sentence came with ancient echoes, countless layers of meaning folded within each syllable. It was divine, yet personal. The energy of the word “YOU” and “WILL” were palpable. A riddle. A key. A burden and a liberation. I was shocked, yes—but also relieved. Shocked, because I could feel the depth beneath the words, the vast ocean of truth they barely revealed. That moment marked the beginning of a personal quest to unravel the true meaning of those simple words, but more specifically, the word “WILL”.
